ADINA VINEYARD
Welcome to Adina, a family owned estate in the Lovedale area of the Hunter Valley. We are located on Lovedale Road – adjacent to Pokolbin and Rothbury and just 7 kilometres from Cessnock in the heart of the lower Hunter. While wines are at the heart of our operations, we also have our very popular Cafe Adina, 5 star self catering accommodation and the Adina Olive Centre. All up, it is an exciting experience to visit the estate. When it comes to wines, we have one simple objective – to produce great wines that our customers enjoy drinking or sharing with friends. We are on a journey of excellence  - we want to have fun doing this, and to share the whole experience with our clients. We are inspired by the pioneers of the Hunter Valley – those who established Australia’s first vineyards here more than 180 years ago. We have a vision of building on their efforts to create an even higher standard by combining experience with best practices to produce truly outstanding wines.

KEVIN SOBELS WINES

KEVIN SOBELS WINES

After learning the art of wine making in both Champagne and Germany, Carl Sobels migrated to South Australia with his family in 1847. There he assisted the early pioneers of the Barossa with their winemaking before establishing his own business in 1850. His son, also named Carl, moved to the Clare district - eventually buying the winery he built. For over y, 100 years, generations of the Sobels family made wine and built their successful wine company Quelltaler.

Like his ancestors, Kevin Sobels, along with his wife Margaret and son Jason, share the same love and dedication of the industry, operating their Hunter Valley winery which bears their family name. Their winery continues an unbroken Australian wine making tradition now over 150 years old. The pursuit of quality and individual style is the same today as it was in 1850.

McWILLIAMS MOUNT PLEASANT

McWILLIAMS MOUNT PLEASANT

McWilliam’s Wines is one of Australia’s largest and most highly regarded family-owned wine companies.

Since 1877, when Samuel McWilliam planted his first vines at Corowa in New South Wales, successive generations of the McWilliam family have been pioneering the art of fine winemaking in Australia.

Always innovative, McWilliam's has ensured its position at the forefront of Australian winemaking by introducing new production techniques and some of the world's most advanced technology in the company's wineries and vineyards.

The underlying strength and success of McWilliam's Wines for more than six generations has been its belief that wine is made in the country - cultivated and crafted by people with skill and tradition who live and love the vine - not through acquisitions and mergers in corporate boardrooms.

Wines are made by people. Great wines are made by the McWilliam family.

Guided winery tours are available everyday at 11am, at a cost of $2.20 per person.

WYNDHAM ESTATE

WYNDHAM ESTATE

For more than 170 years Wyndham Estate has set the benchmark for quality Australian wines, proudly wearing the title of "industry pioneer" responsible for launching Australian wines onto the world stage. English immigrant George Wyndham began this most important page in Australia's winemaking history in 1830 when he planted his first vineyard at Dalwood, along the banks of the Hunter River, in New South Wales.

Seven years later Dalwood Wines, as it was then known, released its first vintage to rave reviews and by the mid-1800s was exporting to England and India. George Wyndham led the way in promoting the fledging Australian wine industry, showing Dalwood Wines in the Great Expositions of Europe and the USA. The Hunter Valley wines quickly bagged a swag of international medals and in the process earned the Australian wine industry a reputation for high standards and exceptional quality.

To honour George Wyndham's memorable achievements, Dalwood Wines was renamed Wyndham Estate in 1970 - one hundred years after George Wyndham's death. Today Wyndham Estate is renowned for much more than its wines. The original Dalwood vineyard has become a favourite tourist destination in the Hunter Valley.
