Peden's Hotel has had a complete overhaul - formerly known as The Aberdare Tavern, Peden's Hotel is located in the heart of the Wine Country.
A new restaurant, gaming a & TAB area, lounge and kids room have been completed so grab your friends & family and head down for dinner and a drink. The Hunter Beer Co. is located just next to the Hotel here at Potters and operates seven days a week, producing a range of beers that are world renown and multiple award winning, a must see-and-do for all beer lovers!
The Brewery produces several signature beers such as the Hunter Kolsch and Hunter Witbier and also seasonal beers such as the Chocolate Porter and Christmas Cheer. Our Brewers love making these fabulous beers, so we hope you'll love tasting them.

A charming Irish atmosphere is faithfully recreated at Harrigan's Irish Pub. With authentic decor from the land of the leprechaun and an Irish manager, Harrigan's has a charm and style all of its own. Renowned for its food, the Beef and Guinness Pie and quality char-grill steaks of Harrigan's Irish Pub are a specialty - both washing down well with a selection of Irish beers on tap!
In fact, Harrigan's is the only licensed hotel in Pokolbin. Despite Harrigan's Irish flavour, however, we forced our manager to make some Aussie concessions… Australian beers and Hunter wines flow freely and the char-grill steaks are unique in the Hunter Valley.
